Long Ridge Road Solar Farm

Long Ridge Road Solar Farm is a 5 MW community solar project located on 41 acres in the City of Chesapeake, Virginia. Developed by ESA, the project will serve approximately 1,000 low- to moderate-income households through Dominion Energy’s Shared Solar Program, delivering up to 20 percent in monthly electricity savings. Featuring single-axis tracking panels, wildlife-friendly fencing, and 28-foot-wide native landscape buffers, the project is designed to blend into its surroundings. With a projected investment of $11 million, Long Ridge Road Solar will provide long-term property and machinery tax revenue and contribute more than $200,000 annually in household energy savings.
